About Us

Barracuda Entertainments was Established in 1978 by Bob Smith and quickly became one of the foremost Mobile Discos. Striving to be ahead of the game with sound and lighting technology, we attracted customers such as Aviva, Anglia Television and Norwich City Football Club, sharing the bill with star acts including Georgie Fame and the Flames and Bradley Walsh. The shows have grown from one show to 4 over the years which means we are normally available most of the time subject to DJ availability. The DJ's are always smartly dress and the equipment is extremely tidy and well maintained. The media used is CD which is very reliable. We normally don't use laptops.... which is becoming very popular with mobile DJ's at the moment.... because they are susceptible to crashing. Some of our DJ's, however, use a laptop in parallel with CD's. All booking are confirmed with a contract so you have peace of mind. It's advisable to book as early as possible so we can book the DJ, who are in high demand, but if you have been let down at the last minute try us because we may be able to do something for you up to 3 hours before the event.
